We cultivate gum arabic grade 1 (acacia senegal) trees and also buy from other small scale suppliers in the northern states of Nigeria like kebbi, jigawa, kano, borno and katsina for exporting the raw product. Our main plantation comprises about 25, 00 gum arabic trees and we intend to nurse another 10, 000 next year for transplanting. We are also considering setting up a medium sized beneficiating plant to add value for export directly to end-users.
