Pasta Cuomo was one of the hundred pasta factory in Gragnano, near Naples during nineteenth century,his name was Premiato Mulino e Pastificio a Vapore Nicolino Cuomo in 1840.
Today as in the Past we try to achieve the same glory that had once, researching the quality in everything We do. Our Pasta Factory produces a varied range of formats of pasta with excellent quality, among which paccheri, spaghetti, penne and fusilli, all drawn to the bronze die. The processing of our pasta is made according to ancient traditions in the exclusive use of bronze dies and slow processing and accurate with the same patience of pasta masters, who have taught us. The mixture is given by all the best semolina, strictly wheat semolina and water. Ours, are all high quality products made with only Italian durum wheat and processed with the best care. In the manufacturing process each worker follows with care and in compliance with current standards of hygiene phases of the production process. Drying times vary from 18 to 36 hours in static furnaces and, for some types of pasta, arrive up to two days in order to get the right porosity, which allows it to better absorb sauces and dressings, and it consistency that gives to our pasta an unmistakable aroma and flavor.
