South Graphite Co., Ltd. is incorporated in March 25th, 2011 as a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group (CNBM Group), located in Chenzhou, Hunan Province, China, with registered capital of 1 billion yuan.

South Graphite Co., Ltd. is committed to actively promote the consolidation of graphite industrial resources and technological progress, leading the Chenzhou graphite industry more competitive and sustainable.

The graphite raw material of South Graphite Co., Ltd. is origin from Lu He Tai mining area in Chenzhou, Hunan Province, only 50km from downtown. The total area covers around 45 square kilometers. In 1985, the State Geological Bureau reported that the mining area reserved of 34.07 million tons of graphite. The amorphous graphite from Lu He Tai mining area is famous for its good quality which containing 80% fixed carbon on average and 92% on highest.

Recent statistics indicates that the mining area reserves of 50.351 million tons of coal and 27.119 million tons of graphite. 

South Graphite Co., Ltd is planning to invest 3 billion yuan constructing a National Graphite Industrial Park in next 3 years in Chenzhou, which covers 200 hectares, consisting of graphite processing, research, development, trade and transportation.

Currently the industrial park has an annual production of 200,000 tons of graphite briquette, graphite powder and graphite grain.
