The company boasts its own basalt quarry, one of the few ones in Europe and a plant for the extraction of the rock. Basalt rock is a stone derived from the hardening of lava from the eruption center of mount vesuvio. It is of a light-grey colour with some crystals of leucite, immersed in microcrystal structure, sometimes compact and sometimes in slip-lines.
