Gawan was founded in Taiwan in 1973. For almost 40 years, Gawan converting machinery has developed automatic log slitters, rewinders and slitter rewinders for precision slitting and rewinding of paper, film, tape and laminating material. In 2002, Gawan opened its first overseas plant in Kunshan, China and decided to move its headquarter from Taiwan to China in 2009. During these years, Gawan has reached a remarkable achievement and delivered thousands of machines to its worldwide customers.
