IN 1979 Mr. C. F. Chen, the ex-President, established KING CHOU FISH MFG. CO., LTD. which specializes in the manufacturing of various fishing nets, twines, and ropes as well as agricultural, industrial, military and sports nettings. Due to Mr. Chen's 30-years of industry expertise and the installation of the most advanced machines and facilities, KING CHOU has become one of the leading fishing net makers in the world.



Now KING CHOU BRAND high-quality products are sold to more than 55 countries, and they are highly recommended by its customers who are satisfied by the best quality they can find in the world.



Since 1991 KING CHOU has invested millions of U.S. dollars in developing commercial purse seine nets in technical cooperation with CASAMAR INC., who was previously one of the biggest American type tuna net production group in the world. KING CHOU offers full service for its seine net customers as another technical breakthrough to increase the longevity of its seine purse nets.

1978

Mr. C. F. Chen, the ex-Chairman, established KING CHOU FISH NET MFG. CO., LTD. and specialized in making fishing nets, twines, and ropes for fishing, sports, aquaculture, industrial, agriculture and military industries as well.



1979

Production in full operation.



1982

Registered "King Chou" as the trademark.



1986

Set up Wang Dang factory to expand production and assembling line.



1990

Developed commercial purse seine nets in technical co-operation with US company CASAMAR Inc.



1993

Set up Kunshan King Chou Net, Mfg., Ltd. in Jiangsu, China.



1994

In November, Kunshan King Chou, China came into operation and the manufacturing capacity greatly increased.



1999

Set up Sales Operation Office in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Established Ping Nan Factory in Ping Nan Industrial Zone.



2000

ISO-9002 certified. Moved purse seine net assembling line from Wang Dang Factory to Ping Nan Factory. In November, King Chou IPO in Taiwan OTC stock market, listing number "4417"



2002

Officially changed name to "King Chou Marine Technology, Co., Ltd."



2006

To increase new production line and nearby ASEAN Free Trade Area, King Chou (Vietnam) begins construction.



2008

In March, King Chou (Vietnam) Marine Tech. Co., Ltd. commenced full operation, sitting on an area of 74,318 M2 in southern Vietnam.



2009

King Chou (Vietnam) acquired more high-efficiency netting machines and facilities in order to provide better assembly services for purse seine net and cage net customers in the global market.
