Originally established in 1966, Hebi Boda Electronic Scitech Co., Ltd (HBESC) is the largest producer of resistors in north China. As a high-tech enterprise of Henan province, HBESC owns a provincial level R&D center for electronic element techniques.
At present, about 350 employees are working for the company, including 71 engineers and technicians. The company specializes in manufacturing resistors of all types and selenium rectifiers, with an annual capacity of producing more than 5 billion pieces of resistors in a wide range of Type RF fused resistors, Type RT carbon-film resistors, Type RJ metal-film resistors, Type RY oxide-film resistors, Type RX wire resistors, Type RXF wire fused resistors, network resistors, network capacitors, plate resistors, and so on. Most of the resistors are ordered by some leading domestic electronic appliances producers, including Changhong, Konka, Hisense, Skyworth and TCL, to make appliances and energy-saving products. Meanwhile, HBESC is the sole producer of selenium rectifiers in China, with all rectifiers supplied for military, railway and iron & steel industries.
A reliable product quality control & guaranty system is set up in the company. In 2001 the company was awarded the certificate for ISO9001 quality system (Version 2000) and in 2005 it was awarded the certificate for ISO14001:2004 environmental management system. A number of products of the company are awarded the CQC safety certificate, including RF fused resistors, RY oxide-film resistors and RX wire resistors. In 2002, Type RF fused resistors obtained certificate of UL of United States.
With a long history and advanced techniques in the field of producing resistors, HBESC is famous for its quality products across China. In recent years, the company has been investing more and more on R&D of new techniques and products, which results in a series of advanced and unique products such as RF fused resistors.
