Jiangsu Shagang International Trade Co., Ltd. was an iron and steel
enterprise incorporated with self-financing of RMB450,000 Yuan in
1975. Since the foundation and reformation, according to Scientific
Development Concept, oriented by international advanced standard
and with technological, mechanism and managing innovation, our
company has been striving for realizing continual, high-speed,
efficient development.
At present, our company employs over 9,700 staff and covers an area
of 10 square meters. We have total assets over RMB43.7 billion
Yuan. Our company owns a 6.5 million ton steel sheet production
line (4.5 million tons of Hot rolled strip coils, 2 million tons of
wide and heavy thick plate ), unitizing sintering, coking, iron
making, steel making, casting, rolling and other assorted equipment
as well as 5 world-advanced extra-high power electric steelmaking
and casting lines with production capacity of 100 ton, 90 ton and
75 ton, 5 alternately horizontal and vertical, twist free and
controlled cooling high speed wire rolling lines, 6 continuous
splitting ribbed bar rolling lines, 2 cold rolled stainless steel
strip production lines and 1 strip galvanizing line. We are a joint
venture with Korean steel company Posco. Our current annual
production capacity is 10 million tons of iron, 15 million tons of
steel, 15 million tons of rolled products, 1.2 million tons of
stainless steel strip and 0.15 million tons of galvanized steel
sheet. The company is the national largest electric steelmaking
product production base and the national largest qualitative
special steel production base. Meanwhile, we are an important
enterprise in Jiangsu and the national largest Civilian-run
enterprise.
