Company Overview
Established in 1968, Qingdao Bright Moon Seaweed Group is one of
the earliest and largest seaweed processing enterprises in China.
We are able to manufacture chemicals and food additives such as
sodium alginate, mannitol, iodine, alginic acid, propylene glycol
alginate and seaweed fertilizer.
Annual Capacities
Annually, we produce 80 metric tons of iodine, 6,000 metric tons of
mannitol, 8,500 metric tons of sodium alginate, 100 metric tons of
propylene glycol alginate, 500 metric tons of alginic acid, 300
metric tons of seaweed fertilizer and 800 metric tons of seaweed
feedstuff. These products are widely applied in various industries
such as printing and dyeing, textile, pharmaceutical, food,
chemical, agriculture, paper making and organic synthesis.
Technical Ability and Cooperation
We have put great efforts to develop our technical capabilities. We
have ongoing cooperation agreements with academies and research
institutions and are equipped with the latest seaweed processing
lines.
Our technical center was established in 2000, and is one of the largest seaweed application and technical research centers in China. In recent years, we have participated in 863 projects, including industrialization and national research.

With a sound market system and complete marketing networks, our
products are well received by customers throughout China as well as
in Europe, the US, Africa, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia.
