Established in January 2005, Shanghai TONG-JIE-LIANG BIOMATERIALS CO. Ltd is a high-tech company, founded by TONGJI UNIVERSITY, Shanghai NEWGENIUS BIOTECH. CO. Ltd, Shanghai INVEST CAPITAL CO. Ltd, TONGJI UNIVERSITY SCIENCE PARK, and Shanghai YANGPU SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INVESTAL CO. Ltd, engaged in the R&D, manufacture, and dealing with biodegradable materials.



Corporation mainly deals with techno- R&D, techno-transfer, techno-consultation and techno-service of biomaterials and information technology, as well as petrochemicals and relevant equipments as well.



Nowadays, the main projects on the corporation's shoulders are Biodegradable materials-Poly(lactic acid) which is one of the momentous industrialization projects aiming at developing Shanghai by science and technology. Ten-Thousand-Ton Scale Biomass Material-PLA is one of National Development and Reform Commission Biomass Projects and National Ministry of Science and Technology 863 Project. Great efforts have been focused on the research, production, and sell of PLA. For the sake of sustainable development as a new material industry we have finished trial production for further industrialization.
