1 Our products reflect the traditional techniques cultivated
over our 240 year history.
2 Aichi Prefecture, where our company is based, is one of Japan's
most important production centers for food flavoring ingredients.
As home to manufacturers of items such as mirin, miso, soy sauce,
sake, and vinegars, the area is one of Japan's food flavoring
epicenters.
Japan's oldest mirin maker, Kokonoe Mirin, is here. Founded in
1772, the company has provided mirin to Japan's top professional
chefs and food companies throughout its 240-year history. In 2010,
Kokonoe Foods Corporation split from Kokonoe Mirin's OEM division
and was turned into an independent company.
3 Taking advantage of close ties with Japan's food industry and
deep expertise developed over many years, our company provides
items such as dipping sauces, marinades, dressings, and mirin to
restaurant and food manufacturers throughout Japan. Of course, our
company also develops many original products which benefit our
clients. Our clients usually start by tasting our base products.
Then, after consulting the large amount of data gathered by our
company from past projects, we adjust the appropriate ingredients
and flavorings to achieve the clients' desired changes. We repeat
this process as many times as is necessary until clients are
satisfied.
Great flavors are understood around the world. We invite you to try
our high-quality, made-in-Japan flavorings not only in Japanese
food, but also in your country's cuisine.
