Although many characteristics of bamboo are similar to hardwoods, bamboo is not a wood. It is classified as a grass, and bamboo is much denser and stronger than hardwoods. It also grows much faster than hardwoods, making it an easily replenishable resource.

There are more than 1,000 varieties of bamboo in the world, but we use only Mao Bamboo (Phyllostachys Pubescens), because its diameter, color, structure, density and strength are most suitable for the production of bamboo flooring and paneling. This kind of bamboo grows very fast, and it can grown about 2-3 feet in the first 24 hours when spouting from ground in spring. The stalk's height and diameter can become mature in six months, and it can be used as the raw material of bamboo flooring after growing for 5-6 years.

General, the plywood uses urea formaldehyde glue and phenol glue. However, if we use such product indoors, it will hurt the human body because the emission of formaldehyde and poisonous phenyl. We are fully aware of this problem, so we adopt the imported high quality European glue. The high strength of adhesion of this kind of glue meets the US testing standards for 3-ply laminated flooring, and ANSI-3 cycle-test for flooring. Emissions meet the E1 standard.

We adopt an UV cured coating produced in Europe, which is made from a safe water-based coating, and suitable for indoors. The flooring surface is smooth, bright and beautiful after 6 coatings of lacquer and fine sanding with highly accurate sanding machines. It assures that no pinhole over coatings which occurred during the lacquering process, and guarantees the high adhesiveness of the lacquer.
