Shanghai engineering machinery factory of Navy China,the biggest manufacture of upward continuous casting machine and rolling mill in China, was established in 1954. It occupies an area more than 60000 square meters with its workshops of 20000 square meters. The factory is devided into 5 departments,4 sub-factories and transport service company. The sub-factories are steel structures sub-factory,machining sub-factory,maintenance of engineering machinery,cars and lorries sub-factory,production of electric equipments sub-factory. The factory is equipped with more than 400 sets of large and medium size machines and have more than 70 high or medium level technical persons. The largest crane capacity in workshop is 20 tons.

The factory takes fulll advantage of its military enterprise technology and large size work area. We have developed LG 2-Roll continuous rolling mill,V1810 Horizontal inner-thread of copper pipe forming mill,HZ fin tube forming machine by ourselves. Cooperated with Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute and other research institutes, the factory developed SL series Up-ward continuous casting system for oxygen-free copper rods, TS series guideway type cable winder and model DXD4-2.8/1 electrolytic tin-plating machine, LLB series combined drawing machine, CCR 100 continuous casting machine and rolling production line of copper, and D4000 PVC small block carpet prodiction line which have been sold well in China and also exported to over ten countries and areas in the world. The factory also has gained the ISO9001-2008 Quality Management system certification and CE certification.

The factory will continuously carry forward the fine tradition and under the new situation, explore hard and trace the market, create new progress and repay the customers with first class products and service.

The factory is situated in northeast of shanghai with Huangpu River by its east, Jungong Road on its west and close to Shanghai Inner-ring and Intermediate-ring highway on its south.
