-Material: Case-hardened steel
-Tap is clamped by ER spring collets, minimizing the need tostock
various collet sizes.
-Tap is clamped on a floating tap holder; the tapping torque is
transmitted through a square shank on the floating tap holder.
-0.1mm radius tolerance between floating tap holder and shankfor
compensation of the offset of tap and pre-drilled hole to increasetap
tool life.
-Compression and extention movement of the floating tap holderis
designed for compensating unsynchronization of the spindle speedand
feed while tapping.
-Two set screws are added to prevent slipping of the taps while thetapping functions in taking place.
