Description:
The bucket then guides that material into the discharge throat onthe descending side of the elevator.Continuous bucket elevators are used tohandle friable, fragile materials because they minimize productdamage or are used to handle light fluffy materials where aerationof the product must be avoided. Continuous bucket elevators havebuckets spaced continuously and operate at slower speeds. Thecontinuous bucket placement allows the force of gravity todischarge their load onto the inverted front of the proceedingbucket. The bucket then guides that material into the dischargethroat on the descending side of the elevator.
