Chain link mesh is simply a woven steel wire fence coated with zincto prevent rust, commonly referred to as galvanized fence.

There are two kinds of galvanized chain link, GBW(galvanizedbefore weaving) or GAW(galvanized after weaving). The vast majorityon the market today is galvanized after weaving.

Color chain link wire mesh is sometimes called vinyl orcolor-coated. In this process, steel wire is first coated with zincand then covered with a vinyl polyemer coating that hepls preventrust and adds color. The vinyl is generally added to both theframework and the fabric of the fence.

Some chain link wire mesh products use an aluminized coating tocover the steel in place of the zinc that creats a highlyreflective finish. Regardless of the finish, all chain linkproducts offer a durable, ecomical fence system.
