Paulownia wood has high fire retardation and low thermalconductivity, and carbonized even if the wood caught fire.Therefore, in Japan, Paulownia boxes have been used to storevaluable things such as fine arts and crafts for long time. Also,Paulownia wood is very light, soft, fine-grained and has many othergood characteristics as follows:

Paulonin and Sesamin, the elements in Paulownia wood can repelinsects.
