Copperfree mirror is the “most modern” in the mirror field, the mostobvious specialty is no copper and lead, copper free mirrors forinterior use are manufactured by the conveyor, wet depositionmethod. Annealed glass is thoroughly cleaned by the application ofcleaners and passing contact with oscillating scrub brush units.After the glass is cleaned and rinsed, the surface of the glass issensitized with a diluted solution of tin chloride. This surfacetreatment allows for the deposition of silver. Silver nitrate issprayed onto the sensitized surface of the glass along with otherchemical configurations. The final outcome is the formation of auniform silver layer on the glass. once the silver layer is formedon the glass, methods to protect the silver layer from oxidationare employed. The new protect back is then deposited directly ontothe silver. Super sensitizer can be applied in two ways: chemicallyor galvanic ally. Recent technological advances have lead to thedevelopment of copper free protective films, which also preventsilver oxidation, once the metal layers are attached to the glass;they are covered by a protective mirror backing paint. The mirrorbacking paint protects the metal layers from corrosion and frommechanical scratching, and the paint is Valspar made by Germany,better than Fenzi coated on silver mirror.
