Description:
A robustly constructed machine for crushing different mineral, chemical etc.between 100 mesh (150 micron) to 10 mm.Main parts of the PRECIOUS hammer mill are a welded case, rotorwith hammers, grates and drive. The case of the hammer millconsists of lower and upper three parts portions. The middle partof the upper portion is fixed to the charging hopper, while thelateral parts which are lined with grooved armours can be liftedaround revolving hangers either hydraulically or in case of smallersizes, manually. In the lower part of the case are adjustabledischarge grates, the position of which as against the concernedspace can be adjusted by means of upper and lower regulation, placed on the exterior side of the lower part of the case. In thecrushing compartment delimitated by the upper part of the case andby the grates turns the rotor consisting of a shaft and of a numberof disks through which are passed bars of hammers. On the bars arefixed the hammers in a rotary way. The drive consists of adust-proof electric motor of a closed structure, connected with aflexible coupling or through transmission by means of vee- beltswith shaft of rotor. A particular attention during the stage ofdevelopment of hammer mills was devoted to easy service andmaintenance. Hydraulic or mechanical lifting equipment facilitatesaccess to the whole upper half of the rotor without a difficultdisassembly of the entry part; thus it shortens substantiallyoutage time during repairs of the machines and during the exchangeof hammers.
