 Radix REHMANNIA EXTRACT
a Chinese classic herbal formula. In Japanese kampo, it is known as"(it is also known as Kampo #48). It is commonly made into Chinesepatent medicine. It is composed of two famous formulas which tonifythe blood (si wu wan) and the qi (si jun zi wan) plus the additionof huang qi and rou gui. 

Main Function

1. seasonal febrile disease involving yinfen and yuefen,manifested as fever and irritability
2. blood-heat syndrome manifested as hematemesis , epistaxis,hemoptysis, hematuria, hemafecia, metrorrhagia , etc.
3. febrile diseases with consumption of body fluid manifested asfever , thirst and constipation
4. syndrome of yin deficiency and fire-hyperactivity with hecticfever
5. lung dryness syndrome with cough of epistaxis
