To produce water-soluble lutein, lutein is emulsified in an aqueous solution ofcoating agent and antioxidants, sprayed and then dried. At allstages, the oxidation-sensitive raw material is treated undercontrolled conditions. The result is an oxidation-stablefree-flowing powder.
Description and solubility
Free-flowing, dark- orange powder. The product can be scattered intostirred cold water, to obtain a stable yellow-to-orangedispersion.
Composition
Glucose syrup, modified starch, lutein, DL- alpha – tocopherol, sodium ascorbate, andascorbyl palmitate .

Storage/Handling
The product is sensitive to oxygen, light, heat, and moisture. It should therefore be stored in the tightly sealed, lightproof packaging in a cool place. Once opened, it is recommended to use the remaining contents as quickly as possible.
