Description:

The high density black silicon carbide fused by heating highpurity silicon sand and carbon in a big electrode furnace at above2500 0C.

CF-16 is a black, friable, medium bulk density silicon carbideabrasive grain. To get this kind of grains, we specially processthe ingots, separate the magnetic material, and sieve the grainscarefully to get a complete range of grit sizes.

 

Applications:

CF-16 is used in making vitrified bonded grinding wheels, resignbonded grinding wheels. As loose grains, it is widely used forpressure blasting, surface finish and other general industrialapplications.
