Avel is a 26 meters engineless gaff cutter from1896. She was a wreck rescued from a mud bank in England in theearly 1990''s, was renovated in Cowes and has been racing in theMediterranean since 1994. She was intially captained by ClassicYacht Adventure''s Feargus Bryan. Avel is owned by the Guccifamily.
