Matcha is top- quality tea. The tea plants are covered with reedscreens  and lawns for

two to three weeks in order to shut out direct sunlight, thisprocess helps to bring out

flavor and richness of tea.

 

 

 

Matcha is made by removing the stalks from specially-grown youngleaves(named tencha)

and grinding the leaves up to a powder in morter.( It is notinstant tea powder)

Also, it is known for its green color, fresh aroma andbittersweet taste, and it is used

as natural additives in many fields such as pound cake, cookieand ice cream... etc, , ,

 

The brisk bittertaste of matcha contrasts well with thesweetness of sugar and emphasizes its flavor,

so matcha is commonly used for flavoring in confectioneries,like icecream, which has become one
