Matcha (Green Tea) Powder:
Matcha is a kind of high qualitypowder-formed green tea (it is smashed powder, not instant teapowder), whose raw material leaves (named Tencha) is harvested byJapanese methods, and smashed into powder by certain machines.Matcha is a kind of very tiny powder-formed tea ( about a diameterof 200 meshes to 1500 meshes (about 5μm to 75μm) ). Organic MatchaGreen Tea Powder is known for its green color , fresh aroma andtaste. It is used as a kind of natural additives in many fieldssuch as cosmetic, ice cream, bread, toothpaste, biscuit, and so on.Our matcha products are harvested by Japanese method, EU and Japancompliant, annual output is 200T, and they are graded into manygrades for different customers.
Our matcha is made in China, free ofrediation. For two to three weeks in early spring the tea plantsare covered to induce shade that drives valuable nutrients into theleaf. Shade growing the tea plants also increases the amino acidL-theanine in the tea leaf. The earliest spring leaves are thenharvested and stone ground producing a tea that energizes andrelaxes at the same time. The powder is then mixed with hot waterand whisked into a frothing oxygenated beverage. This is one of themost amazing things about drinking matcha: you feel totally alertand yet totally relaxed simultaneously!
When you drink matcha you consumethe leaves, unlike other green teas. For this reason matchacontains, by volume, higher concentrations of catechins andvitamins.
