Description
These capacitors are manufactured from highly specific compositionof zinc-aluminum alloy and heavy edge metalized polypropylene film.They conform to the latest standards applicable for motor runapplication for continuous duty cycle. Furthermore, latesttechnology is used in processing of these capacitors.
Application
This series of capacitors has been designed for single phase A.C.motors where high starting torque and small dimensions arerequired. These capacitors are used in domestic & agriculturalpump sets, control panel, submersible pump sets, jet and mono-blockpump sets, air conditioners, coolers, refrigerators etc.
Construction
The external case of the capacitor is made of Bakelite plasticizedthat its character are not only good insulating resistance andstrong resistance damaged bus also protecting electro-liquid asgood sealed feature. It is popular used for the super ACapplication as good life, higher degree of reliability andstability.
The winding is housed in an aluminum case, sealed with a rubbercoated Bakelite lid. A special vent is situated in the Bakelitewhich will break, open in case of internal over pressure thuspreventing explosion. The aluminum case is inserted into a plasticsleeve in order to insulate the capacitor’s body to prevent anyshort circuit.
The capacitors are normally supplied with soldering terminals.Other types can be supplied on request.
