Neutral GroundingResistor, China
Cautions ofSite Installation
10.1Transport theequipment to the installation site by forklift, unscrew boltsfixing skids, open and taking out the equipment; in unpacking, itis necessary to prevent the shell or sleeves on the top fromdamaging; it is suggested that the base of packing material and boxshould not be dismantled in unpacking, so as to avoid damage duringconveyance.
10.2 When using forklift truck, attention should be paid to align it with the place of the anglesteel on the base, in case that the base should bedamaged.
10.3 If the space is not bigenough, crane can be used to move the equipment to the site.Hoisting lever is equipped on the bottom of the resistor cabinet. If the equipment is too big, or the door of the distribution roomis too small, the cabinet body can adopt detachable type, butinstructions must be made prior to producing indicated in the salescontract.
10.4 The equipment can beinstalled either indoors or outdoors. It can be installed onspecialized foundation, concrete platform or a supporting platformnearby the transformer.
10.5 Fix with anchor boltsthrough the bolt holes at the bottom to the foundation. Fixing canalso be done through direct welding.
10.6 The resistor grounds togrounding grid by single core cable. One end of cable goes throughfrom cable-leading-in hole at bottom of cabinet to the top. The endside of cable must be well done.
10.7 Resistor or CT output endmust ground firmly. The hole where cable going through must becovered by cable guard ring and sealed. Wire-in end of resistormust be connected firmly with grounding transformer or transformerneutral by single-core cable or copper bar.
10.8 Resistor grounds firmly topublic grounding grid via copper bar or cable, the specification ofwhich depends on actual situation.
10.9 Check andfasten all fixing and connecting bolts within the cabinet to ensurethe fixing is firm and connections are secure.
