Reliable Stress Control
Now stress control cone or stress control tubing is used to smooth out the high electrical stress in cold shrinkable power cable accessories below 35KV. But from the electric light, stress control cones are more reliable and effective.
Stress control cones reduce the high electrical field strength by extending the insulating screen zone to form trumpet shape, therefore make the cables run safely. If stress control tubing is used in the cold shrinkable power cable accessories, it will cause many problems such as instable capability and the binding power between accessories and cables not well. Application
Cold shrinkable power cable accessories are designed for 1-core or 3-core polymeric insulated cables below 35KV voltage with the function of joint, sealing, protection and insulation. The accessories can be widely used for every need in different fields, especially for atrocious conditions.

Installation Instruction
1. Peel off the outer-protection layer of cable: Peel off the outer protective layer 600mm; keep 50mm armour, and peel off 550mm armour and inner filling layer.
2. Fix the breakout: Put the breakout to the crotch of the cores. Shrink the breakout from the breakout center to the both ends by heating. (Notice: For unequal core cable, put neutral liner tube to root of neutral line, fix it by heating, and then fix the breakout.)
3. Fix the lugs: Measure the length of the lug’s hole of 5mm, peel off the core insulation, compress the lugs by the compress clamp, polish the lugs by file or sand paper, and then clean them.
4. Fix insulation tubes: Clean the core insulating surface and the breakout; fix the insulation tubes with one end to the root of the breakout, the other wrap the lug impress; and then fix them by heating.
