ST-DAC-XY2-CDseries DA converter is an integrated product for digital toanalogue single conversion, to enable higher marking accuracy andlong distance signal transmission which is less susceptible toelectrical noise.

Interface: Digital SignalInput

This seriesDIGITAL SIGNAL INPUT connector is used for digital signal inputaccording to the XY2-100 standard. The pin-out of this is shownright.

The DIGITALSIGNAL INPUT connector is also used for connecting the converterboard to a power supply with balanced power source of DC/-15V.

This boarddraws approximately 50mA from pins 17, 18, 19 and approx. 20mA frompins 23, 24, 25. However, when driver board and scanners areconnected and operating, then 1.5A are required for each of X and Yaxes.      

Interface: PowerOutput

DC /-15Vpower to the two driver board is provided by ANALOG POWER outputconnectors. The pin-out of these connector is shown as abovefigure.

The ANALOGPOWER OF X&Y axis output connectors provide analog outputsignal in the range of -5V to 5V for controlling the scanners viadriver board.
