Chapter 1Overview
1.Preface
“TH” seriesintelligent high-frequency switch power supply modules arespecially developed to charge the electric forklift. The charger isdesigned with world leading patent technology “resonant voltagetype soft switching power supply technology”. They feature highefficiency and stability, intelligent control, small size and lightweight. The rated output voltage is 48V, equipped with LCD screenand standard RS 485 interface.

3. Mainfunctions
3.1 Protectionfunction
l Output over voltageprotection: To prevent the disastrous accident caused by outputovervoltage, there is overvoltage protection circuit in the module.once the output voltage exceeds the threshold, the module locks upautomatically and no output. The same time it alarms. The defaultovervoltage threshold is 63±1V.
l Output current limitprotection:Theoutput current cannot increase infinitely. The maximum outputcurrent of is limited to 105%-115% of the rated outputcurrent.
l Short circuitprotection:When short circuit, the outputvoltage drops to 0 immediately. Limit the short circuit currentunder 15% of rated output current. The module will not be damagedunder short circuit state for a time, and resumes to workautomatically after debugging.
l Over temperatureprotection:Over-temperature protection ismainly for protecting large power components. In particular case,when the temperature of the radiator is over the threshold 85°C,the charger module shuts down automatically to protect itself andresume to work after the temperature comes lower.
l Over currentprotection:Theoutput current cannot increase infinitely. If overloaded, theoutput voltage decreases automatically to protect the powercomponents. The over current protection can be resumedautomatically.
l Converse connectionprotection:there is protection fuse and itwill break if the battery connected conversely. The same time italarms.
3.2 Measurementfunction:measure theoutput voltage, current and charging state, displayed on the LCDscreen.
3.3 Alarmfunction:audible andvisual alarmif any fault. Display the faultinformation.
3.4Communication function:communicationcapable via RS-485 with upper controller.
