Function Protection

3. Equalized charging:
Extend the lifespan of battery packs.
4. Short-circuit Protection: When the chargerencounters unexpected short-circuit, it will automatically closecharging. When fault is removed, the charger will re-start in 10seconds.
5. Thermal self-protection: When the internaltemperature of the charger exceeds 75 Celsius degree, the chargingcurrent will reduce automatically. If it exceeds85 Celsius degree, the charger will shutdown protectively.When the internal temperature drops, it will resume chargingautomatically.
6. Reverse Polarity Protection: The charger wouldautomatically cut the connections between its inner circuit and thebattery when the reverse polarity happens, the charging will not bestarted, and therefore no damage would be happened on the batteryand the charger.
7. Input low voltage & Overvoltage Protection:when the input AC voltage is lower than 180V or higher 265V, thecharger will shut down protectively and automatically resumeworking with the voltage is in the normal range again.
8.Test function:Thepresent charger can check the charging voltage, current,accumulated time, and can display them on the LED screen.Simultaneously, the four statuses (30% 60% 90% 100%) can be seen onit. The user could visually know the charger''s status atanytime.
9. Fault alarm:Thecharger would alarm through the LED light when faulthappens.
10.Setting
(1) Maximum output current setting for zero voltage
User could operate the current adjustment button (photo) on thedisplay interface to set the maximum output current value. Thevalue could be set between the 50% and 100% of the maximum outputcurrent of the charger, and the user could see the value on thedisplay scree
(2)Setting battery type
The lead-acid battery can be divided into two types ofWET&VRLA. The charging voltages are different. The display ofthe charger contains the battery type selection button, and theuser could select the type by him.
(3)Equalizedcharging setting
Theport voltage of each battery would be unbalanced after the longterm recalculate charging and do harm to the load system. Equalizedcharging could balance the battery port voltage. The equalizedfunction selection button is on the operational display interface,and starting the equalized charging to charge the battery isbeneficial for the recovery of the battery pack. EQU is a way ofconstant voltage and limited current. Giving the 48V battery forexample, the constant point is 63Vac (for WET type) or 60Vac (forVRLA type) and the limited current is 0.02c(c for batterycapacity).

1.Operation method
Fixand tighten battery pack plug with charger plug. Be sure thepositive and negative polarities between charger output line andbattery pack are correct then plug in the AC power220V. Select thebattery type and start the charger.
After5 to 10 hours charging, once the voltmeter displays the right valueof setting voltage the
chargingis completed.
Thenpress the OFF key and cut off the AC220V power before disconnectingthe battery charger link.
2.Cautions
2.1.Polarity must be connected properly between charger’s output andbattery pack’s. Never short circuit in condition of charger keepsopen.
2.2.Do not insert any sticks or metal into the draught fan in the backside of charger.
2.3.This charger adopts automatic temperature control switching fan. Soduring normal work the fan will continual turn on oroff.
2.4.This charger’s output voltage and current parameter are all set. Ifthere is necessary to adjust the current on the operation shellplease checks the output parameter. Don’t adjust voltage atwill.
2.5.Please read the above matters before usage. Remember do not letchildren play with or use this machine.
