1. base vehicle specifications
Any specification of Toyota Land Cruiser 200. We recommend V8engines to cope with the additional weight.
2. Ballistic protection
The vehicle provides the following ballistic protection:
- Opaque areas provide protection according to VPAM APR 2006, level7 / CEN 1522 FB6 – all wide-spread soft core bullets 5.56, 7.62 and9 mm, from any angle
- Transparent areas have thickness 58 mm and provide protectionaccording to STANAG 4569, protection level 2 - multiple shots ofany soft-core bullets 5.56, 7.62 and 9 mm and also hard-corebullets 7.62 x 39 (BZ), from any angle
- The fuel tank is protected against the effects of projectiles andtwo hand grenades detonated under the vehicle
- Protection of the engine compartment: armored front wings andarmored plates on the front and underneath the engine(optional)
We guarantee that our vehicles are armored according to the samedesign that was certified in Germany.
3. Blast resistance
The vehicle provides the following protection against blasts:
- 2 x DM51 grenades detonated under the floor
- 2 x DM51 grenades detonated on the roof
- 15 kg TNT at 4 m distance from the side of the vehicle, elevation1m
- DM31 (anti-personal mine) detonated under the floor (optionally).Increases the weight by 120 kg
- Anti-tank mine (6kg TNT) under the wheel as per Stanag 2a(optionally). Increases the weight by 60 kg
The blast resistance was tested and certified in Germany. A dummywas set inside the vehicle to register all relevant data and it isguaranteed that no injuries to the occupants would occur after theblasts specified above.
