Maintenance:
Intermediatecleaning: sprayout the paint, dissolve/loosen residue using water and /or asuitable cleaning agent and brushes/cotton buds, spraying it outsubsequent to this.
Thoroughcleaning (prior to longer working breaks):
a. Terminatethe compressed air supply. Unscrew the end piece and needlesecuring nut;
b. Pullout the needle and clean with a cloth and cleaning agent. Check theneedle tip for deformation;
c. Unscrewthe needle cap and clean with a cotton bud;
d. Removethe nozzle and push any paint residue carefully out of the interiorwith a fine brush or needle. Check the nozzle and seal for cracksor deformation;
e. Insertthe nozzle into the air head and screw into position. Press thelever down and insert the needle carefully up to the stop. Screwthe needle securing nut and end piece into position.
Furthermaintenance instructions:
Neverimmerse the entire instrument in solvent. A little thinned oilshould be applied accationally to the lever mechanism. Keep theneedle tip and nozzle free of oil and grease, as this can influencethe spraying characteristics. The needle, nozzle and seals arecomponents subject to wear and should be replaced when necessary.Nozzle sets and flow cups are available in different sizes tofacilitate conversion.
