Acrylic nails isa method based on combination of acrylic powder (polymer) andacrylic liquid (monomer). The acrylic technique is very appreciatedand is willingly used at the Nail Art championships, due tosimplicity of ornamentation and final effects. Wide range ofcolors, the pigment base and diversity of covering and additionslet you create the most fancy decorations such as: abstractpatterns or stained glass patterns, reliefs, 3D patterns and evenjewelry and figurines.

An importanttechnical element of acrylic method is to choose the rightproportions between monomer and polymer, not only due to thehardening time, but also to meet the expectations which in effectwill give stable nail extensions. In making the ornamentation wecan change the proportions depending on what effect we would liketo achieve. Thinner ball (connection of monomer and polymer) allowsyou to perform, among other things: patterns which resemble"painting"  technique, shading the background and the outlineof the edges. Big advantage of this method is not only the factthat we do not need any additional equipment like UV lamp or wipingthe dispersion layer but the ability to work with the material atthe time of polymerization.

NAIL EXTENSIONS WITHACRYLIC METHOD:

• We disinfect ours and clients hand using the bactericidalpreparation (eg. Izosol -http://nails.silcare.com/category/plyny-dezynfekcja).
• With a wooden stick we precisely move away the cuticles. Themost helpful to do it is a cuticle softener(eg. Cuticle Remover- http://nails.silcare.com/category/odzywki-odzywki-do-paznokci).
• We adept the shape and size of the nail tips.
• We put a drop of glue, spreading it evenly over the innersurface of the tips. (eg. Nail Glue SilcareBasic -http://nails.silcare.com/category/akcesoria-tipsy-kleje-do-tipsow).We glue them from the bottom to top so that no air bubbles could becreated under the false nail.
• We remove the rest of the glue.
• We shorten the tips to the desired length.
• Shape the nail using a nail file.
• Align the transition between the false and natural nail. Trynot to file down the natural nail plate.
• Remove the filling with a broom or brush.
• With the filing block we matt all the shining part of thetips.
• We remove the dust and purify it with a degreaser. Wait whilethe degreaser evaporates.
• Next we use a primer, imposing it on the whole nail(eg. Perfect Primer -http://nails.silcare.com/category/akryle-liquid-monomer-eco-lux).
• To the dish we pour the liquid (eg. Monomer FastClear LUX -http://nails.silcare.com/category/akryle-liquid-monomer-eco-lux).
• Gently soak the brush, sunk in the acrylic so as to form aball.
• We move it on the nail and form a white tip. Then proceed thesame way with pink or clear acrylic forming the rest of thenail.
• Wait until it dries and file down to obtain the appropriateform of the nail. 
  If the templates where used instead of false nails, we peel themoff.
• With a polisher or the polishing block we polish to ashine.
• You can also apply a shining varnish, shining gel or UV Coat.For the use of gel, a UV lamp is needed.
