Properties:Copolymerof vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether has goodbinding property as a result of its special molecular structure inwhich ester bond is resistant to hydrolysis and combined chlorineatom is very stable.
SMP-60 has excellent capabilities ofresisting to saponifiability,aging, hydrolysis,corrosion, acid, alkali and salt solution and goodcompatibility with other resins.
SMP-60 has good pigment wettability,excellent adhesion on plastic film, and good heat stability, can beused for air drying and physical methods of drying paint. It iswidely used in composite inks.
Solubility:SMP-60 is well soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ester, ketone.
Compatibility: SMP-60 is misciblewith or partly miscible with vinyl chloride copolymer, polyacrylicester, unsaturated polyester resins, aldehyde resins, petroleumresin, natural resins, alkyd resins modified by oil and fattyacids, drying oil, tars, and bitumen, etc.
Application: SMP-60 is wellused as basic resins in anticorrosion paint (steel structure,container, marine, underwater structure, machinery and automobileengineering, transport equipment & industrial paint) and it isalso well-known in composite inks.
