The BX series drum chippers are extremely robust machines withmodern design, suitable for the chipping of round logs, waste wood,bamboo, slabs, planks, log end pieces, pallets etc. The feedmaterial is continuously fed into the chipper by means of a batchfeeder or vibratory feed trough. Toothed draw-in rollers with agood grip characteristic draw the feed material into the chippingchamber at a continuous speed. There it is size reduced by a veryrobust rotor into quality chips and discharged through a stablescreen.

By the processing, these feed-in materials are turned into highquality, uniform, and multi-application wood chips, which are idealmaterials for the manufacture of particle board, MDF and paperpulp. The chips are also well suited as fuel for high intensityburning in modern heating plants.
