DEscriptION
Boli HS-200 is a thermostable Alpha-Amylase produced by a modifiedstrain of Bacillus licheniformis. It is an endoamylase thathydrolyzes alpha-1, 4-glucosidic bonds to quickly reduce theviscosity of gelatinized starch, producing soluble dextrins andoligosaccharides.
Boli HS-200 has excellent heat resistance, fits to desizing oftextile fabrics such as cotton, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, rayonfiber, synthetic blended and yarn-dyed poplin.

EFFECT OF pH
Boli HS-200 is active over a wide pH range, depending on theapplication conditions. The optimal pH is 6.0~7.5. The stable pHrange is 5.0~10.0 at 25° C(77° F).
EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE
Optimum temperature of Boli HS-200 ranges from 85 to 110º C.

ConCENTRATION OF CALCIUM
Boli HS-200 requires a very low calcium concentration. Addition of50 to 70 ppm (DSB) of calcium is sufficient to ensure enzymestability.

INHIBITORS
Copper, titanium, and cobalt ions are moderate inhibitors for BoliHS-200 whereas aluminum, lead and zinc ions act as stronginhibitors.
