Introduction:

 

This purifing unit is used fornitrogen purification at various pressure levels. This unit usesthe normal nitrogen (purity above 98%) as the feed material,through palladium(PD) catalyst or carbon deoxidant, it removes theoxygen and then removes the moisture through the drier. Theprocessing capacity could be designed from 1Nm³/h to 3000 Nm³/h,the outlet pressure could be set from 0.05Mpa to 0.7Mpa as per theuser’s needs.

Workprinciple

The normal nitrogen with acertain flow rate and purity enters into the unit with the hydrogenat the same time, after being fully mixed in the mixer, the mixedgas enters into deoxygenation unit filled with palladium catalyst.With the function of deoxo catalyst, the chemical reaction happensto remove the oxygen.The moisture inside the deoxygenated nitrogenwill be removed through the cooler. The nitrogen gas then entersinto the driers to inrease its dew point up to -60C°.Two driers areequiped: one is for adsorption dring and the other is to regeneratethe first dreier which has fully adsorbed the moisture to get readyfor the next period adsoption. Finally, the high purity product isobtained after removing the dust from the dried nitrogen inside thefilter.

With the function of the carboncatalyst,the oxygen inside the nitrogen is removed through thechemical reaction of the oxygen remains and the carbon supplied bythe carbon catalyst.Then the moistur remains and CO2 in thedeoxygenated nitrogen are removed through the cooler and the drier,meanwhile, the dew point of the nitrogen reaches about -60C°.
