It is made from alumina-silica ceramic fiber,free of asbestos, can be used in different industrial applicationsunder temperatures up to 2300 °F (1260 °C) and has excellentchemical stability and strong resistance to thermal shock andcorrosion attack. Exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphoric acidsand concentrated alkalis. It also resists oxidation and reduction,If wet by water or steam, thermal properties are completelyrestored upon drying. No water of hydration is present.
It contains 15% organic carriers, which helps to establish physicalformation of Products. The carriers burn out at about 750 °F (400°C). It also contains reinforcement insert materials of eitherInconel wire or continuous fiberglass filament to increase handlingstrength during installation and enhance fiber durability to ratedtemperatures of 2000 °F (1093 °C) for Inconel wire and 1200 °F (649°C) for fiberglass filament.

Application:It is used as heat insulationmaterials in thermal installations and heat conducting systems,Also can be extensively made into all kinds of ceramic fibertextiles and an excellent substitute for asbestos.
