Product Description

 The chemical formula of quartz is SiO2. It was composed by silicon dioxide. It is either translucent or opaque, milk white and hard crystalloid. Natural quartz always contains a spot of impurity, such as Al2O3,CaO,MgO etc. Quartz has many species. Its density is 2.65-2.66g/cm3, Moh`s hardness is 7, refraction is 1.533-1.541.The pure quartz is clear, trigonal or hexagonal. The anisotropy upon chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties is obvious. It is acid-insoluble (except HF), slightly soluble in KOH solution. It possesses optical activity, pyroelectricity, and piezoelectricity. There are usually solid, liquid, and gaseous inclusion in the crystalloid, and it contains microelement ion, Ore are usually in grey, yellow, etc.
Quartz sand is made from high purity and high whiteness natural quartz ore, and specially processed by unique technique. It is mainly used in solar glass field, quartz slab, ceramic industry, sodium silicate, filter material and etc.
