It is a braided packing made of PTFEyarn containing graphite and anti-corrosive lubricant. It isrecommended for shafts for almost all chemicals. Stability and longservice lift are achieved by low friction coefficient. It has greatfear strength and high thermal conductivity. This self-lubricationpacking does not score the shaft and minimizes sleeve replacementcost. It can be used to seal alkalis, solvents, water, steam, acidsexcept strong oxidizing acids (aqua regia, fuming nitric acid,fuming nitric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, etc.) for centrifugalpumps, autoclaves, agitators, mixers,etc.
