Exothermic welding(cadweld) is one kind of exothermic weldingmethods which use super high heat produced by chemical reaction(exothermic reaction) to complete welding. Exothermic welding isalso called as fireclay fusion joining, fireclay fusion welding,exothermic fusion welding, exothermic welding, chemical heat fusionwelding, etc.
Chemical reaction rate for exothermic welding is so fast that itonly needs a few seconds to complete welding. Produced super highheat can effectively conduct to fusion part so that it is melted toform bonded molecular. No other heat is required.
