The C.H.S SPE-1000P-AF Power Source Convenient switch combines asmall-high efficiency 5-port 10/100 Mbps switch with a standard802.3af 4-port Power over Ethernet (PoE). The SPE-1000P PoE switchuses an external 48VDC power adaptor. All 4 PoE Ethernet ports canprovide 15.4W power as well as 10/100M data transmission overstandard readily available Cat 5/ 5e / 6 cables. The newSPE-1000P-AF allows for data and power to be transmitted over asingle Ethernet twisted-pair cable to the attached devices.
The SPE-1000P-AF switches is Power Source Equipment (PSE) andfully compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that comply with theIEEE 802.3af PoE standard, allowing users to attach any IEEE802.3afcompliant device such as wireless Access Points (APS), VOIP phone,IP camera, printer and Network Attached Storage (NAS) to theSPE-1000P without requiring additional power on a network. The unitis designed with home and small business users in mind and is acost effective solution for environments where AC power is notavailable or too costly to install.
