Oxytetracycline Injection 5%

50mg oxytetracycline hydrochloride per ml

INDICATIONS:
Infection caused by Micro organisms susceptible tooxytetracycline like respiratory infections, gastro-enteritis,metritis, mastitis, salmonellosis, dysentery, foot rot, sinusitis,urinary-tract infections, mycosplasmosis, CRD(chronic respiratorydisease),blue comb, shipping fever and liver abscesses
DOSAGE ANDADMINISTRATION:
For intramuscular, subcutaneous or slow intravenousinjection
The general dose:
10-20mg/kg body weight, daily
Adult: 2ml per 10 kg body weight daily
Young animals: 4ml per 10kg body weight daily
Treatment during 4-5consecutive days
CAUTION:
1-Do not exceed the above mentioned dosage
2-Stop medication at least 14 days prior to slaughter of theanimals for meat purpose
3-Milk of treated animals should not be used for humanconsumption 3 days post administration.
4-Keep out of reach of children
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: meat:14days; milka; 4days
