This type of wire mesh is widely used as reinforcement onconcrete weight coated oil & gas pipelines, it helps thepipeline sink to the ocean floor and remain in position on theseabed, prevents the pipeline from being damaged duringinstallation and after it is in place.

This concrete coating system is designed to provide negativebuoyancy and mechanical protection for pipelines in subsea and wetenvironments.
