The main features of theflame retardant PVC cable or wire are hard to get fire or that thecontinuous burning of cables is limited when it is on fire. Itapplies to the places with special demands for flame retardantproperty. Flame retardant cable is classified asClass A, Class Band Class C. Among the 3 classes, Class A is the best. 2.Fire-resistance cable can operate normally for some time when it isburning, apart from that it can transmit electrical power undernormal condition. It is used in the places with special demands forfire resistance property. Fire resistance cable has two classeslike A and B. Clients can select one as their practicalneeds. 3. The main characteristic is low smoke and halogen.Flame retardant cables are low smoke emission and low release ofHCL gas besides the property of flame retardant. It can be used inthe places with special demands for the density of smoke emissionand the release value of HCL gas when the cable getsburning. Using Requirements:1 Rated voltage U0/U is 450/750volt, 300/500volt or 300/300 volt. 2 Permissiblecontinuous operating temperature of cables:——for type of cableRV-105 and BV-105, less than 105°C.——for the others, less than70°C. 3 Ambient temperature should be not less than 0°C, andpermissible bending radius of cables for fixed connecting should beas follows during installation:——for O.D. less than 25mm, equal toor greater 4 times O.D.——for O.D. more than 25mm, equal to orgreater 6 times O.D. 4 Flame retardant cables should pass thetest of bunched cables or wires under fire conditions which aredescribed in the standards of GB1266.5-90 or IEC332-3. 5 Fireresistance cables should pass the test of fire resistancestipulated in the standards of GB1266.6-90 or IEC331. 6 Lowsmoke & low halogen flame retardant cables should pass the testof flame retardant described in GB12666.5-90 or IEC 332-3.Furthermore, its optic-penetrated rate shall be not less than 35%,while the release value of HCL gas not larger than100mg/g.
