Note: This product is suitable for imported machine desktop makerbot series printer and other printers. Our ABS material will not jam the nozzle, does not damage the printer, the plastic raw materials are imported materials, do not add any ingredients and impurities. Our ABS, PLA material is close to makerbot's original filaments. At present, Our ABS, PLA material have been used in makerbot printers and other imported printers,so far no reaction product quality defects.
Purchase notes:
Some supplies exaggerating the the usage of the filaments,we remind customers please /confirm/i the product categories and specifications when purchasing, and /confirm/i whether the printer can apply to this material.
ABS material is a kind of Engineering plastics. It`s one of the most widely used plastic materials in real life. They are high strength, small deformation, nontoxic environmental protection. Therefore ABS material applied to many occasions. ABS there will be odor overflow in the ABS production, some people doubt this smell has toxicity. This is a bit exaggerated. As long as it does not reach plastic degradation temperature, these smell almost has no effect on the human body. Printing products by ABS material, supporting part is easy to peel, resist temperature is higher than PLA, the gloss is pretty good.
For Afinia, Reprap, MakerBot, UP!, PrintrBot, MakerGear, Solidoodle, Ultimaker, and other 3D printers
ABS 1.75mm filament in 1kg (2.2lbs) spool. High quality 1.75mm blue ABS filament from us. Produces excellent 3D printing results.
High quality ABS filament, manufactured to very tight tolerances and a wide extruder temperature range, making for smoother 3D printing, and fewer extruder nozzle problems.
Available in blue and another 17 vivid colors.
PLA is an excellent polymer
1.Renewable resources
2.Biodegradable
3.Color printing, like LED crystal
4.There is a very low shrinkage, deformation resistance
PLA is an environmental-friendly polymer originally derived from crops as maize. Different from ABS, PLA has a firm glass transition temperature, around 60 °C to 65°C , and requires a lower extruder temperature, around 180 °C to 200 °C . As for mechanical performance, PLA is dimensionally stable so that a heat bed can be eliminated, but PLA has a higher coefficient of friction at the same time so more adjustment is needed to avoid extruder jams.
Due to the different temperature requirements, make sure the extruder temperature is in the right range when shifting between ABS and PLA.
This material has been tested on RepRap, Makerbot, Mendel, Huxley UP! Printer, WeisTek, Thing-o-matic and Ultimaker.
Note: This product is priced for 1 spool (including 1kg filament), and shipping is NOT included.
