Vertical lathe has reached the domestic advanced level becauseof its six innovations compared with the conventional lathes;

1.    Designed with double-cylinder guidance, itchanges conventional T-groove and dovetail groove, and thereforerealizes high guiding accuracy and good rigidity; it is designedwith sealing gaskets and dust gaskets, and the oil added once maybe used all the year to ensure automatic lubrication, dustprevention and shock attenuation; regular planning and grinding ofguide rail is unnecessary, so that the accuracy maintaining periodmay be improved by more than 5 times (rectilinear or T-type guiderail available for the customer requirements).

2.    Separate power installation. The situationof the power at one position for the use at several positions ischanged so that the operation and use is more flexible andconvenient, the stability and reliability have been greatlyimproved, and therefore it reduces more than 80% of the cost formaintenance and repair after machine stop.

3.    The large bearing with high accuracy andstrength is used as the turning track of worktable with goodautomatic centering and work in oil. It avoids the possibility ofdamage of hydraulic turning track due to lack of oil in oil pump,electric device damage or oil circuit blocking, and it will notresult in the deflected floating of turntable due to eccentricityor heavy parts. 4.    The main gear motor is installed under thebase, which turns by directly turning central main shaft with theadvantages of good centering, long guiding distance and no lateralresisting force as that in outer gear ring. The central centeringbearing will not encounter eccentric wear, and therefore ensuresgood stability, high precision, energy saving andenvironment-friendliness (The external gear ring type available forcustomer requirements).

5.    The worktable is turned through thecombination of high speed and low speed with infinitely variablespeed change and the simple structure of gear box. Such structureis convenient for the distribution of frequency conversion motor ormain shaft servo motor, saving energy by more than 60% andincreasing several other functions.

6.    It is possible to add the functions ofplane milling (T-groove), hole drilling, threading, tapping andindexing according to customer demand, and in particular to boreand turn deep holes, convenient for long-distance installation ofside cutters. One-time set-up may realize several processes andmost importantly may ensure the concentricity and parallelism. Andit also improves the product quality, saves energy and reducesconsumption.
