Self-aligning roller bearing has two rows of sphericalrollers, the outer race is provided with a common concave sphericalraceway, while the inner race is provided with two concavespherical raceways that form an angle with the bearing axis. Thecurvature center of the outer raceway is consistent with thebearing center.The self-aligning roller bearing is self-adjusted, and it isnot affected by non-centering or shaft deformation flexure of shaftand bearing block, so it can compensate the concentricity errorcaused by these reasons. Except being subject to radial load, thistype of bearing can also be subject to bidirectional axial load andtheir combination load. The load capacity is large, and the bearingis provided with preferable shock resistant capacity. Self-aligningroller bearings are mainly applied on mechanical equipments ofsteel, mine, paper making, shipping, textile machinery, coal milland electric power industries.
