SPS is a suitable initiaor for the emulsion or solutionpolymerisation of acrylic monomers, vinyl acetate, vinyl chlorideetc. and for the emulsion copolymerisation of styrene,acrylonitrile, butadiene etc.. SPS is also a kind of oxidizingagent:
